First of all, I just want to point out that I leveled this paladin from Level 10-70 as Holy, then went from 72-80 as Retribution (due to boredom of grouping and extremely low solo DPS). I will warn you that unless you intend to group for instances, it will take forever and additionally, until your later levels, you may not get to wear your ideal style of gear (i.e. you may have several slots with mail, leather, and even cloth). And I must say, I get really excited every time somebody decides to make a healer, the game needs more. =D
I see what you’re doing here, as far as your build goes. But if I may, I would like to correct some of your choices. First off, a 53/0/18 build is the most widely accepted build at the moment. As a Holy Paladin you will want as much crit from talents possible. I also noticed you’ve picked up 10% kings. That is nice, but you do make sacrifices in return. In Patch 3.1, Kings will be baseline, therefore requiring no talent points to acquire it.
Now I have several questions I raised when looking at your build. First off, I’m not sure if you’re going for PvP or PvE, because certain talents are great for one and bad for the other. Another thing is you will want to take either Improved Lay on Hands or Improved Concentration Aura but not take the other. I’ve rarely seen both taken in the same build. Personally, I prefer 3/3 Imp. Concentration Aura, especially for PvP (I only use Lay on Hands if there’s an emergency or I need mana, via Glyph of Divinity). Additionally, in the third tier, you took Blessed Hands. This is more of a PvP talent, and even so isn’t really worth 2 points. First of all, when will you use Hand of Salvation in PvP? I can see hand of sacrifice, and people trying to dispel them, but I don’t see this useful in PvE. Additionally, Purifying Power isn’t usually taken (once again not really worth 2 points). Cleanse isn’t mana inefficient, and the reduction in mana cost doesn’t help too much. And please, take Enlightened Judgements, It will help you incredibly, and for a mere 2 talent points (you will need it so you can stay at range while acquiring the Judgements of the Pure buff.
To be honest, all the points you put in prot won’t really help, you’re better off putting them into the Retribution tree to improve your healing. Anticipation sounds nice, but you shouldn’t be needing to dodge anything in reality, unless you plan on PvPing.
Now, for the Ret tree. Benediction. You’re on the right track. You should pick up Heart of the Crusader and Imp. Judgements. As a holy pally, Judgement of Light will become a staple spell in your rotation, particularly in 5 mans more than anything. After that, pick up 5/5 Conviction then sanctified seals.
You seem to have the general idea down, but seeing as you’re completely new to this, I just thought I’d share some of my experience with you, and I hope this helps you out. =)
edit: clarification. It’s 2 AM for crying out loud.

Please let me know of any changes/corrections I should make. This is obviously long, and I could have missed something. I wrote this for my guild to explain how tankadins work, so it was more of a guide to people not familer with the pally class… but hopefully other people find it helpful as well.
