World of Warcraft Trading Card Game

Following in the footsteps of the popular online game, the World of Warcraft trading card game is another insanely popular entry in the Blizzard gaming universe.

Basically the online game has been translated into a trading card game so Raid decks are designed to mimic how Raids are handled in the MMORPG and characters who are difficult to kill in the online version of World of Warcraft, such as Paladins and Shamans, remain so in the TCG version of the game.

You can begin playing the WoW TCG by getting a Heroes of Azeroth Starter Set, which contains a Rule Book, two boosters, 3 Oversize and Rare Hero Cards, and a 33-card pre-constructed deck for one of the nine playing classes. You won’t know what class you have until you open up the box as they are distributed randomly.

GameSpy: World of Warcraft: The Collectable Card Game

There’s a lot of stories generated when a game-licensed movie goes into production, or (to a lesser extent) every time a game company picks up the license for another brainless, action-packed summer blockbuster that gets made into a mediocre game. Far more unheralded, but potentially much more lucrative, is the interesting cross-trade licensing between game developers. Video-game companies have been making titles out of board and collectible card games for years — usually with far greater success than the movies they mimic. Recently, though, there’s a mirror to that trend: board and collectible card game companies adapting video-game licenses such as DOOM and Age of Empires with equal success. Upper Deck, one of the leading collectible trading card companies, clearly hopes to be part of that trend, because it just announced its acquisition of one of the biggest video-game licenses around — World of Warcraft.

“It’s always been important to Upper Deck to get top-shelf licenses,” said Upper Deck representative Cory Jones. “And, to be honest, our designers play World of Warcraft way too much.” According to Jones, the card company was one of several that approached Blizzard with the idea of licensing the IP. The fact that Upper Deck eventually got the nod is attributable to, in Jones’ words, “A shared attitude of quality first. We’re planning on spending millions of dollars to get this product right, and it’s not going out the door until we reach that point. That’s the kind of commitment Blizzard can appreciate.”

Yugioh Card Maker Forum

Hello all. This is a project to make World of Warcraft cards. For you to know me, I will merely say I am a hated former player. You probably knew me by now. [Mods: before you ban, I talked to one of you and he/she contacted YCMaker and Fallen Pizza, they said they don't care/mind about me getting back - BTW that's what the mod said]

Anyway that is not the case. I am here to post my enormous project about converting World of Warcraft into Yu-Gi-Oh! epic sets, with like, each set containing 100 cards. As a good start, I finished the Dragonflight of Wyrmrest ambassadors and the Blue Dragonflight in whole. I also started working on the Valiance Expedition and the Warsong Offensive. So far I’ve finished about 20+ cards. Soon after I finish Wrath of the Lich King set, I will let you know to start making your own cards so I can add them to the database. I will remake the cards with the right pic though, and might edit on the effects. Credits will be posted for each card, though most likely it’ll be me doing everything. But also here, when I finish the WotLK set, I’m gonna post it. Soon after, I’ll work on TBC, and then, the original game, which will need some contribution on it to finish. Here are example cards so you don’t think this is just a troll-off:
