Actually, I’ve just had a good talk to Gnoming my afflock friend. I’ve just had a good look at stats from fights. Basically, afflocks suck at trash, but we’re uber on bosses.

Looking at the two most recent WoW web stats for VH HC and COT HC, it tells a nicer picture…

So okey didn’t have the highest DPS (second aint bad), but I did the most damage.

Okey second place, I can take that. Second DPS just… this fight is quite add heavy of course. Which cocks up a nice casting cycle.

Chrono-Lord Epoch

Okey top of the damage again, and second DPS. This is a fairly simple fight apart from the time shifts breaking up your casting cycle.

Second on damage and second on DPS isn’t too bad.

I think the “problem” I have is Violation, DamageMeters and Recount all by default aggregate a session together. All fights into one average, which doesn’t do me justice because on trash I can’t get up to full DPS. This is additionally why all of the averages and counts of damage are different.

I’ve been told that I should remove one of my Glyphs in favour for another because it actually reduces DPS so I’ll do that tonight.

Okey tricky fight and you have to keep moving which breaks cycles, but again good for me. In short I’m going to start ignoring all DPS meters unless they are per mob .
