Leveling Up Faster in World of Warcraft
The problem with games like World of Warcraft is not that they are not fun or interesting. In fact, it’s one of the most popular games ever made and millions have spent hundreds of hours proving that. The problem is that many of those millions don’t have hundreds of hours to spend. However, everyone wants to reach those elusive higher levels, get an epic mount and earn lots of gold. So, here are a few standard leveling tips that will help users get a few more levels just a little bit faster.
Questing
Everyone sees the only way to do well in World of Warcarft as the boring, repetitious grinding sessions that the game seems to demand. That doesn’t need to be the case though as there is dozens of ways to level up simply by questing. The best way to go about leveling up is actually to combine questing with grinding.
The first step is to queue up a lot of quests. This keeps you from running back and forth from town to town and picking up new ones. Second off, you’re ready to go for days with a full quest log. You’ll also find that many quests target the same areas and you can complete a few at a time while grinding all along. If you queue them up you’ll find that you can complete numerous quests all at once and level up much quicker.
The Hearthstone
Save hours of time by setting your hearthstone to a nearby inn where you can rest between grinding sessions and turn in your quests. Most people just tack it on to the biggest city around, but if you don’t do that and put it instead on a small local inn, you’ll save vast amounts of time and make your life a lot easier.
Grouping Is Good
Everyone seems to want to pick off mobs on their own, subsequently competing with a dozen other players for that one kill. It’s not the best way to spend your time though and most of the time results in arguments or lost XP. The best way to go about quests is to group up with a fellow player if you see them nearby. There’s no reason to back off or argue with someone over a kill when you can share it and both complete a quest.
Ask For Help
There are thousands of people on your server and any one of them might know exactly what you need to know. Instead of running around aimlessly looking for a NPC with the info you need or a mob that might not even exist, talk to a fellow player and ask them the best way to complete a quest, reach an area or kill a mob. Most people are pretty nice and will gladly help you out.
The common misconceptions in World of Warcraft often lead people to make poor decisions and spend too much time trying to complete a quest that they shouldn’t or do something alone when they should find a group. Follow the right steps and you can level up much faster and have more fun doing it all the while.
