6 Helpful Hunter Add-Ons to Make Life Easier

ShotAndAwe

Most players are aware that add-ons like Omen Threat Meter and Deadly Boss Mods are almost universally used. However, there are several mods out there that were specifically designed for Hunters to make our lives easier, and those deserve some attention as well. Today, we’ll be taking a look at some handy Hunter add-ons to have installed.

1. Track-o-Matique

This add-on was designed with Improved Tracking in mind. This add-on provides configuration settings for automatically switching your tracking settings depending on what you’re currently targeting.

2. Ammo-matique

Ammo-matique helps streamline the process of managing your ammo. You can set this up to help to swap out different kinds of ammo depending on the situation–this is particularly helpful for Hunters who use Saronite Razorheads for farming and Iceblade Arrows for raids, for example. It will also alert you when you’re running low on ammo and keep your inventory organized by moving ammo automatically to a designated bag.

3. ViperNotify

For those forgetful Hunters out there who have a tendency to swap into Aspect of the Viper and then forget to swap back to Aspect of the Dragonhawk, this mod will flash a large warning on your screen when you’re in Viper and your mana bar is full (or nearly full) to remind you to swap back.

4. Gun Silencer/Suppressor

If you’re using a gun and are tired of that ear-splitting crack every time you fire your weapon, this mod is a godsend.

5. ShotAndAwe

This mod helps to improve damage output by displaying shot timers and priorities, customized by spec. You can think of this as a visual representation of your shot rotation and it’s associated timers.

6. Tyra Misdirect

This add-on streamlines the process of setting your Misdirection targets using quick set-up macros straight from your interface unit frames.

If you have any Hunter-specific mods that you use, feel free to share them in the comments!
